  History

  January, 1928: Moved to Baltimore, Maryland into a rented house at ____ Darleigh Avenue.

  [DATE]: Moved to another rented house at ____ Putty Hill Road in Parkville, Maryland, just north of Baltimore City.

  [1939]: Joined in Baltimore by sister Fannie Delia (Mundy) Ferguson. Together they opened Ferguson Cleaners at 7908 Harford Road in Parkville.

  19??: Bought a house at 3032 Lavender Avenue in Parkville, MD.

  1976: Sold the cleaning business in 1978 and retired with sister Fannie to their home at 3034 Lavender Avenue. Her retirement was announced on the front page of the January, 1978 issue of the hometown newspaper, The Parkville Reporter. She cared for her older sister, Fannie (Mundy) Ferguson until Fannie's death in 1987.

  1997: Sold both homes on Lavender Avenue and moved, with daughter Fannie Catherine Doster and her husband, Robert Leroy Doster, to a condominium in Perry Hall, Maryland where she lived until her death.
